And just like that, in the span of a few minutes, it's all gone. All of it is gone. All my dreams and hopes for the future moving forward are dashed and there is no getting them back. The pain right now is raw and visceral. My dream of writing for Battletech is dead.
I don't even know where to start picking up the pieces. I don't know where to go from here. My fanfiction, painting minis, going to a con someday, it's all so useless now. What is the point of any of it? What's the point of Battletech anymore?
I hope you can find a way forward from whatever is blocking you from writing for them. Battletech is supposed to be a point of joy, not despair :(

ReplyDeleteThis "person" caused all kinds of hell in the life of author Blaine Pardoe. Made false accusations & death threats that saw them convicted of making Terroristic Threats in a court of law. Part of getting Pardoe cancelled and fired from working with CGL, TOPPS (the owners of the Battletech IP) stated that this worthless "person" would never get to work for or write for the Battletech Universe after they got to see all the facts of this case by getting rid of one of their best selling authors AND the worthless "person" who lied and caused all the drama. This is a case of someone's chickens coming back to roost. KARMA is a bitch, and this "person" is getting to learn this fact. Karma always comes back to bite you in the ass when you make death & terrorist threats against someone who you disagree with politically. So, I'm not sheading any tears that this "person" is getting what they deserve.
