So, Shrapnel Issue #15 dropped, and I have to say, I haven't been this inspired since I read the first Fox Patrol story by Bryan Young. There is so much amazing content, and I haven't even gotten through all of it yet. The things that stand out to me so far are the story by Daniel Isberner which culminates TEN YEARS of work on a single story thread, and Robin Briseno's first ever publication of a short story. She's done it the right way, the way I wish I could have going back and looking at things, it is just so inspirational. More than ever, I am determined that I want to write more for this franchise. I have more stories to tell, and I want to find a way to tell them. I'm staying positive and hoping that things align going forward. I am in such a good headspace right now having read through this issue that I'm finding it hard to out into words. Here's hoping for a bright future!
